Meet Siân Sayers (Evans) B.A.(Hons) Lic.Ac, MBAcC — Licensed Acupuncturist, Stratford-upon-Avon
I’m Siân Sayers (Evans), a licensed traditional acupuncturist and owner of Stratford Acupuncture. I run two clinics in Stratford-upon-Avon: a private one-to-one practice and a community multi-bed hub treating up to four patients at once.
I trained for three years full-time at The College of Traditional Acupuncture (CTA) in Hatton, earning a BA (Hons) and a License to Practice. CTA was Europe’s oldest college specialising in Five Element Acupuncture, renowned for its excellence before closing in 2012. After qualifying, I spent six months providing cancer care acupuncture at Myton Hospice before setting up my own clinic.
I have a particular interest in women’s health, especially fertility. Since 2013, I’ve supported many patients through natural conception and treatments like IVF and IUI, helping bring what I fondly call ‘Acubabies’ into the world. I also support women through hormonal changes at every stage of life — menstrual health, perimenopause, and menopause — helping ease symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, and poor sleep.
Alongside acupuncture, I offer guidance on nutrition, sleep, stress management, and lifestyle, along with relaxation and mindfulness techniques — because true wellbeing means caring for mind and body together.
I’m committed to ongoing professional development, regularly training in areas like Tung, Auricular, Fertility, and Facial Acupuncture, Menopause care, and Pain Management, as well as business and marketing skills to keep improving patient care.
Stratford Acupuncture is fully registered with the British Acupuncture Council, The Association of Community and Multi-Bed Clinics, the Professional Standards Authority, Acupuncture Fertility Network and is listed with many private healthcare providers.
Most recently, I earned the MASCED Accreditation, a program developed by SKCIN, a leading melanoma and skin cancer charity. This initiative aims to improve early detection of skin cancer and melanoma by raising awareness of their early signs and symptoms, ultimately improving outcomes and saving lives.
Since 2017, I have worked as a Clinical Supervisor at the Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, where I oversee third-year clinical students as they treat patients. My role involves mentoring students in diagnosis, treatment planning, and ensuring successful completion of their assessments.
Drawing on over a decade of experience, I also offer supervision and mentorship to both new graduates launching their practices and experienced practitioners seeking support. Whether it’s refining treatment plans, improving patient care, or developing business strategies, I am passionate about helping others thrive in their acupuncture careers.
